Restoring an old black and white photo and then adding color brings life and

personality to important memories.

This 3" x 4" black and white photo

taken in 1935 was missing background

data and detail and had many age

spots.

After repairing the photo, and

improving the lighting, each part of the

image was hand colored. The final 8" x

10" image was produced on canvas, an

acrylic coating added, and then framed

with a simple, black wooden frame.
